Talking Soon to be new hanger!

Just ordered the blackbird today. Seemed like the best choice after much research. I could not afford a tarp yet, so I will have to improvise with something cheaper. Possibly a tarp from lowes or homedepot for the moment. Any suggestions on something better for cheap, that would work with a blackbird would be greatly appreciated. I cannot stand the wait now. I want to go hang in the woods now. Also, anyone have any idea how long it might take to receive the hammock (no modifications)?

Welcome to HF! I had that very same itch when I was waiting for my first hammock. Then you'll be itching to just go out and hang. That part never goes away.

Wait patiently, it'll be at your door in a couple days. I also suggest a Kelty Noah's Tarp 9x9, for the money it's an incredible tarp.

Just saw a charge to my bank account from Warbonnet.com...the countdown begins. I might be sleeping in my backyard in a few days.

Thanks for the Tarp Suggestion. It looked like a nice one for the price and I had an REI stock bonus of 18$, SOOOOOOO Sweet! Thanks.
