    Hiya from SC

Hi all, just found this forum from a recommendation of a friend. I have only been hammocking for the last few months, but I will probably never go back to a tent!

Been on here for a few days, and have already learned TONS! Hope you don't mind the occasional stupid question, cause I have a bunch!

Welcome! All the stupid questions have already been asked several times over (many by me) and no one on this great forum seems to mind - so, ask away. The videos contain a wealth of information, and are much more understandable if watched with a libation and cigar. Go Gamecocks!

Welcome from a former Charleston resident! That's where I first got back into hammocking after a long hiatus. I really liked SC, at least that part of it, and the mountains in the upstate.

Good to have you on the HF ! Residing in IRMO and there are a good handfull of "Columbia, SC" hangers nearby. Some minor discussion of upcoming hangs either at Lake Murray or possibly Congaree Swamp NP. Keep an eye out on the Upcoming Trips thread.

Send me a PM if you wanna check out some setups . . .
