    Weekend hang in Stockholms Archipelago

Hi, just thought I would add some pictures of a trip "suddenfromaspudden" and myself made last weekend a kayak
and camping trip to an island called "lidö" in stockholms archipelago:

    Google map of the island.

    And some pictures:

We both used DD Froneline hammocks slightly modified suspensions, home made
    under quilts and DDTarps.

Nice shots of what looks to be a good trip. There are a LOT of islands in that area!! Wow!

    Cool
I use to spend my summers 10 Km north of your island, at Arholma.

But i am a bit confused, since i thought your island was called Idö.
Am i talking of another island or does it have several names ?

Anyway cool pics , looks like you had fun

Can i see a Stockholm Archipelago hang in the future ?

Ps, it looked like someone had some local knowledge about the place

    Thanks guys for the replys.
Yep, Beep plenty of Islands to choose from 24,000 of them around the inlet into stockholm.

Moski, yes it's really weird that google maps have it named as idö, that was lidö
sometimes called lidön , idö is a little futher north/east.

It would be great to meet up with some more swedes for a Archipelago hang, suddenfromasppuden and myself would be defiantly up for it.

We are thinking of going for a hang in the next few weeks or so a little closer to
home at the national park at Paradiset in Huddinge:

Its a great area and plenty of nice places to hang a hammock:

    Anyone want to meet up?

Thats a pain Bomber. But when the money situation gets better and your up for it give me a shout, and we can make some plans.

As you say, a kayak trip sleeping in a hammock doesn't get better than that, look after yourself.

    Very nice.
I used to sail through those archipelagos daily on the Viking Line Mariella!
Always would look at them wistfully knowing folks were sitting by a fire .... and me on a ship dressed up......
    Fun report.
