earth tones but I'd lean toward a multicam or some kind of camo suitable for the desert mountains.

I prefer bright unnatural colors that are highly visible to hunters - orange, red, yellow. (rampaging animals, too) A "natural earth tones" camp site is dangerous in many places.
I love the green/gray color of my 1.1 dbl! Overall, grays and muted greens look really nice in the outdoors. I'm not much for bright colors in any setting though.

just noticed this post - any of the colors listed i like.. nothing bright/unnatural. would be nice if camos were in lightweight sil

Just got my new ripstop in the mail yesterday. 1.6 coated Digi Cammo for the tarp and a Sage green down proof for the hammock. Black zippers on the way.
