Tableclothfactory crinkle taffeta Poly or Nylon?

Ordered and received some tablecloth blanks from tableclothfactory.com
Went with thr tsfetta crinkle but as I understand it, that is a weave, not the material.

Is it the polyester or nylon that I received?

I'm guessing it is the 2.6oz/yd poly but don't know for sure.
I would take it from the below info it is their "heavy duty polyster", correct?

I ask because I see Magnafabrics has just offered the nylon crinkle taffeta.

I'm not entirely sure but I know they work for my largess. I'm a Big guy and spent my first night in my DIY taffeta tablecloth hammock last weekend. I was the same height off the ground in the morning as when I went to sleep. No apparent stretch in the fabric to my untrained eye.

I agree, very comfortable and don't really care what it is in the end.

Suppose I could do a "burn test" but found this thread which indicates it is indeed polyester with the weave being TC or CT as the case may be. 2.6oz/sq yard

According the dreamhammocks chart, good to 300 lbs in the single layer.

    Making 2 more today.

I have 3 crinkle taffeta hammocks and have made about a dozen more. I believe it is polyester as mine do not stretch. They are very comfy. Papa Smurf has a fabric weight chart and I think the crinkle taffeta is rated at 2.2oz/yd.

He does indeed list it at 2.2oz/sq yd for the nylon tafetta crinkle
    From http://www.dream-hammock.com/Fabric.html

    2.2oz Tan Crinkle
    100% Nylon Taffeta
    Width: 60"
    Rating: 265 lbs.
    Very soft, slight crinkle finish

    But he also lists this;

    2.6oz Polyester Crinkle Taffeta
    100% Polyester
    Width: 60" or 72"
    Rating: 300 lbs.
We do not stock this fabric. It is ordered as needed.

Which is why I was wondering about it in the first place.

Either way, your dozen plus hammocks produced justnmakes me feel that much better about knocking out 5-10 hammocks as gifts.

They are wonderful. I wish I was at home in mine now.

Wider is better, long as you can get in your room. I have two and will probably order a new blank sometime this summer.

Yea, I know. Get a new bed every 6 months to a year? Ya, I can do it, no problem.
