    Tri-glide size?

I have some tri-glides on an old climbing harness that are for 2" webbing. Would it be a bad idea to use those on my 1" suspension?

    Could this lead to slippage?

There is the possibility of them slipping. That and the tri-glides could shift, which will put stress on the webbing. No expert here, just tried 1" webbing with 1.5" tri-glides and they shifted and tweaked a spot in my webbing at the time. I hope this helps and be careful.

I would avoid using wrong sized gear. BBG nailed it, they will twist and do potentially damaging things to your webbing or your behind.

Is that a fact, or speculation?

I figured as much. I guess I just needed that second opinion to over come my frugality.
