3.5" toggles for me. I went to the local bow and arrow dealer and asked for the scraps from where they cut down the arrows. Guy looked at me funny as he dumped the contents from his "Trash" can into my "TREASURE" box. I now have an assortment of carbon fiber and aluminum toggles for FREE

I use 3-4" long bamboo toggles and have had no trouble with them.

I don't use toggles...I have cinch buckles. I like my buckles, they are easy. Crankybear set up my system for me and as I use it I am finding things that I would like to change. I would consider toggles, but my knot tying abilities are lacking. with that said it would take a lot of practice for me and if it is cold I would be out of luck as my fingers turned into popsicles. good luck with your decision.

I use them with my Whoopies, but still use webbing and rings 99% of the time. The only real problem I have with a set-up requiring a toggle, is it consists of parts. Parts and me are soon parted, based on history. So I guess that's the "con"; parts.

I use toggles exclusively now, after trying several other methods.
I guess you could use trail sticks, but I prefer aluminum arrow shafts since they slide out better (drill a small hole and attach a pull string).
4" is my preferred length; I have 3" ones too, but they seem just a tad short with heavy webbing.

Used them all the time ... still use occasionally. Have a set of toggles from Arrowhead Equipment that I carry but have been know to use a good staub!

But now with my whoopies ... it's Dutch Biner all the way for me. No chance of the set up ... slip off issue. Actually this is the only time I've had a whoopie slip off ... and not that often. Once loaded they usually are on there for the duration of the hang. BUT ... love the Dutch Biner

Great thinking, chickenwing!! Looks like a run to the local hunting outfitter is in order.

Whoopies and toggles all the time for me. A little worrisome at first when you see that the whoopie can potentially slip off, but it proved to be unfounded for me. Very reliable and easy to implement. Never lost a toggle (or strap) yet after countless trips. Simple and elegant.
