    Attaching whoopie slings to warbonnet

Can anyone tell me how to attach whoopie slings to the blackbird warbonnet? A link or detailed instructions would be great. I'm assuming you need to untie the existing suspension that comes with the hammock. Once you do that, I want to get it right the first time.

I took the straps and rings off, did a larkshead with the closed end loop of the whoopie on the Amsteel loop attached to the hammock whipping, and considered it attached. That way I can detach easily and use it on another hammock if I want.

    yes-

**examine the wbbb original attachement- there's a loop of black grosgrain ribbon which the suspension is run through. just mimic that with fixed eye of the whoopie

There's a photo thread on here somewhere with some really easy steps to follow. I undid mine really carefully and then just copied the larkshead with the new cordage. The white cord below is the ridgeline from inside the BB, make sure you don't pull that back through the end, just larkshead the amsteel behind the lump of fabric and pass the end through that small ridgeline loop and pull tight.

I used a 12" continuous loop on my Blackbird which then larksheads onto a ring and then the whoopies are larksheaded onto that too. It gives me a set of drip rings then.
