Go light back packers may get a laugh out of this, but we’ve used even larger tarps than this for group camping – truck camping, or even packed in with horses and mules. A good place for everyone to gather during a storm instead of staying cooped up in their tents. OK, so he pitched it pretty high; so improvise. Not intended to be torn down every morning and set up again in the evening; but for a base camp to be used several days it’s great and appreciated.

Yes it was, held one end, and the other end he "Zinged-it" it up and over the branch.
