I use it under my sleep pad when forced to be a ground dweller. Works nicely. I tried in the hammock but could never get comfortable.

I used it last night between my DIY PeaPod Style Sleeping bag and the actual hammock... Was nice and toasty warm... Haven't notice any issues with condensation as of yet but I've only used it down to about 40 degrees...
I tried it as a pad in my hammock. 2ft wide and cut it to kinda contour. With shorts on, the cut edges scratched my legs up some. I didn't think the stuff would be that sharp, so it was a bit annoying. Put it inside a Wally World fleece sleeping sack, and sewed across it in places, leaving cold spots where I had sewn. I like the stuff, and it weighs next to nothing, but the search for perfection continues.
I've cut my the shape of my mummy sleeping bag and it stays right in place with no folding up...
There's a thread called "1001 Uses for Reflectix". My own experience with it is here.
