    Speer Winter Tarp Questions

Is the speer winter tarp cat cut on the ridge and doors?
I have been watching some of Shug's videos and still can not figure it out.
I know the sides have a cat cut to them. To me it seems like the tarp is basically a rectangle with the cat cut on each side.
In other words if you layed the tarp flat with the doors open it would be a rectangle, but with the cat cuts between the two main tie out points on each side.
    Make sense?

There are probably other differences but there is a catcut on the seam that connects the doors to the main body(that is a bad description since it is all one piece of material). It is just a seam put on from the ridgeline to the second tie out that is thicker in the middle.

Yes you are correct! Though the cat cut is not as major a a OES tarp, I own the 8x10 speer tarp and love it, the cut's are just enough to get a taut tarp and no more! I wish they were still making the SWT, but alas it's no more!!

What size is the SWT? I am about to spend the rest of my day fabricating a tarp and thought this would be a good one to base mine on.
    Is it 10x12?
