Hah, I have that problem a lot. Try finding a saw tooth set in good shape, or a decent hand crank drill, or a proper kerosine stove.

Filson's sizing is "generous". I'd say the 46 inch chest for a medium is accurate. That would make a Large near 48 inches and an XL around 50 inches.

Thanks Beep thats what i was wanting to hear in the uk i take a large or sometimes xl but i got a filson yukon cape coat of the net for a steal but it is medium

but measures 46.
