cheapest i've seen it, mine is on its way...
Just ran it through the shopping cart and it has free shipping. I doubt you will find a better deal on a complete 4 pc system and its is US Govt contractor made by Tenner Industries.

This is the real deal. I wish i had found this site before i had bought my sleep system. I would have saved about 80-100 dollars. These work great and are extremely warm and at this price, you can not go wrong. This is a must buy if you sleep where it might be cold and wet. It works for me and i live in the Pacific Northwest.

good lookin' out, this is a crazy steal! You think inside the bivy bag you'd even need an UQ?

If it's cold enough to use those three layers on top of you, you'll need more than just the compressed bag under you to match it whether that is a pad or an UQ. You'd probably get by with much less of an UQ, but you'll still need something.

Wow that is an excellent deal!

It is important to note that these bags are NOT for those with broad shoulders...I have one and cannot zip it up.

So would someone who wears a 48 jacket be out of luck on the zipping up frontier?

I just measured my chest at about 50"...not sure if that helps. I weigh 250lbs right now. Back when I originally bought my bag I weighed around 230lbs and could get it zipped up with the help of someone else...but it was mega tight. During my last solo canoe trip this past October I could not zip up the bag for the life of me.

It's too bad really because I have the whole system plus the U.S. Winter Bivy Bag that can hold it all...I have used the whole outfit except the gore tex bivy that comes with the bag once in freezing rain conditions and was very warm...I was able to zip up the bivy bag which is oversized to accomadate the sleeping bag but the bag itself remained unzipped past my upper waist...lol.

I am 250 and built like a linebacker. I still hit the weights at least 3 times a week and i have trouble zipping mine up, so what i do instead is, lay the bivvey in the bottom of my hammock with the green bag inside of the bivvy the way it should go. I then slip my black bag, upside down, into the bivvy making sure to put the footbox of the green bag into the footbox of the black bag. This way the black bag is laying on top of me like a top quilt and i can get the bivvy (its a tad bigger then the other two bags) and use that to Zip up. I also use a thermarst Z-rest in the middle of my Claytor Hammock and have yet to have this fail to keep me warm, and i live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where we get lots of liquid sunshine and nice brisk evenings with liquid moonshine. LOL Its wet here even when its dry.
