Too bad it's not hammock width. It might make a good hammock sock though.

Unfortunately, Sportsman Guide does not carry that anymore. They may have some again in the future, but they are sold out on current stock.
The material is a 7020 type II nylon twill which, from what I understand, is no longer manufactured. You can, however, find it as a surplus item from several Army Surplus stores and a few sites that sell parachute supplies.
If you are looking for this type of material, contact Mary @ http://www.kaufmansarmysurplus.com/. She has several 60" wide rolls for sale at about .50 per yard. You can't beat that price! But you have to buy to whole roll and not cut yardage to get the same deal.
My hammocks are made of the same material. It's very strong, very lite weight, very packable and very breathable. Perfect for camp hammocks.

Good luck!
Hey Guys,
I have found several other suppliers who have rolls of this 7020 Type II nylon as well as Type I, which is a 1.2oz ripstop nylon. Some sell by the yard, others you must purchase in bulk. For those interested, send me a msg via HF and I'll give you the info.
