Hello everyone,
Im very happy to be here. You might say im a cherry to hanging. I just got my very first hammock this week it is a hennessy hammock expedition. I see i have alot of things to learn about making my rig and all the enjoyment that it will bring...So thank you very much for having here...

Welcome to HF this is the right place to learn about hammock hanging. Don't forget to check out Shug's video series "Essentials for Noobs" they will teach you a bunch and make you laugh at the same time.

Welcome! I, too, just joined and am from SW Ohio. I purchased a HH Explorer Deluxe back in June and am still getting the hang of it. I don't think I'll ever go back to ground though.

Sure is great to see all these Ohio hangers joining the forum! I am sure you know by now that you have come to the right place to talk about hammock camping until the cows come home. You will be hard pressed to find a more friendly and well-liked forum atmosphere anywhere on the internet.

The Hammock Forum search button works pretty well here (unlike other forums I have been on) but do not hesitate to ask any questions. You are sure to get some quick responses no matter what hour of the day you ask them!

Thank you all for the warm welcome..I have my first trip planned with my cuzz to wayne national forest around lake vesuvius for 5 days in november to hunt,camp and hike and just enjoy nature. I will tell you how it goes..

Welcome from yet another Ohioan. Make sure you read up on cold weather hammocking. You've got a few decisions to make before heading out in the cold this November. Staying warm in your Hennesy will be a little different than you might be used to, but you're at the right place to determine your best options.
