Another Ohioan here!

Hello! I heard about this forum the day after my HH Explorer Deluxe arrived in the mail. I was at a local campground and ran across a few hangers and they told me to check this place out. That was back during July 4th weekend and I've been lurking ever since. I finally decided I should probably become a member and dive right in to get some questions answered.

I work from home FT and enjoy getting out on the weekends. I'm also a PT student at a local college. SO and I have three littles who enjoy getting out with us and would probably like their own hammocks in the future but for now they're ground dwellers.

SO and I got into backpacking just over the summer when, after a few weekends spent at that local campground, we decided to plan a backpacking trip to Red River Gorge. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out all the gear and couldn't get my hands on enough info regarding the fastest stove, the best pack within my budget, the best sleeping arrangement (deciding to hammock was pretty easy!), etc. We had a fabulous weekend trip and I was hooked. I even decided to major in geology when I started back to college this fall after a 6.5 year hiatus!
