    They go over the boots.

I own a pair of those to wear over my hiking boots when I sit in one spot to hunt deer. They are built heavily for use over boots and the ability to stand and move around in them. They are not the same type of product as down booties for sleeping (although if you have huge feet, they may be the only alternative other than DIY down booties!).

    Happy napping,

    Glad you mentioned that.
I was thinking that there must be down booties out there.
    Brands? Models?
I've got Sasquatch feet, so might be out of luck anyway.

I have always liked the REI Down booties ... And I am sure they weigh less then 1.7 lbs. Would have to use in some pretty cold weather though. 20* and below I would think.

I have a pair of the Sierra Designs down booties. They rock.. I also just picked up a pair of Integral Designs Hot Socks. Still too hot to try them out though
