    Warbonnet Webbing?

I really like the webbing that came with my WBBB and would like to get some to experiment with different types of suspension. I don't want to cut up the original webbing. Anybody know what kind of webbing it is and where I could buy some? The Jacks-R-Better webbing is a different one. So is the webbing that came with my whoopie slings. The Arrowhead Equipment webbing could be similar - but it's difficult to tell from the photo.

I don't have Arrowheads webbing but I do have their tree straps. The Arrowhead tree straps are very similar to Warbonnet's webbing.

I don't know where Brandon (Warbonnet) gets his webbing, but I do know it isn't Strapworks - I have a couple of Strapworks tree huggers that at 5' long are heavier than 15' of Warbonnet webbing.

My AHE webbing seems to be the same as that on my WB.

+1 on that, it appears identical to me. The warbonnet and the arrowhead webbing I ordered were both about a month ago.

i'm not certain, but i think arrowhead does offer the same webbing (although he might also have several different types, but i think one of them is the same as mine)

Just received my order - I'm not sure if the webbing is identical, but as everybody said, it's very similar. It should do nicely for messing about without fear of destroying the original suspension system.

BTW - can I connect the rope that goes around the hammock directly with the webbing, or do I need to put e.g. a ring in between? My plan is to get rid of the cinch buckle plates, and put in a tri-glide instead (hoping for improved adjustability). I'll sew some webbing to the hammock end of the tri-glide, which I then need to connect to the rope that goes around the gathered end of the hammock.

    Thanks

I'm not sure if they are the same or not but I can vouch for the quality of workmanship Paul puts into all his gear, as well as attest to the webbing tree straps and them not stretching at all or not enough for me to notice.

And just being curious to where you got your woopies from and what kinda tree strap webbing came with them?

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

You could just loop the webbing through the amsteel but the friction over time could cause problems down the road. Just check for wear frequently.

I tried triglides on one of my hammocks. I had a loop of amsteel around the gathered end of the hammock. I then put a small climbing biner on it which I then put the webbing through and secured with a triglide. I used a biner instead of a ring so I could easily connect and disconnect the webbing.
