    Wow that looks beautiful up there. Glad you had a good time man. I've only done section C myself, maybe i'll get up near there some day.

    After hiking this part of the PCT, made me realize that I eventually want to section hike the entire PCT. I wish I had the time and money for a through hike, but there will always be the retirement years. For now I'll just be a section hike weeny.

    Nice!! I hiked that same section at the end of July/beginning of August, except in reverse. Looks like you guys got the worst part (ski lifts and power lines) out of the way first. What's the coldest it got for you?

    We were super fortunate as far as the weather goes. The first night was probably the coldest, only in the lower 40's.

    The normal rout for a through hiker is from south to north, but hiking it from north to south got us the best views at the end of the trip, and gave us the majority of up hill walks at the beginning, and a gradual long down hill toward the end.

    The hike from Cathedral Rock to the Lema River Valley was the longest downhill stretch mentally. It was 9 miles of down hill switchbacks over about 4 linear miles of country. Whew! I was tired at the end of that day.
