Not really sure how no-tangle this is, but I use this and really like it.

stiffness is the characteristic that keeps it from tangling, the stiffer the better

    zing-it/lash-it are fine

i now carry 100' mini-spools a 1.75mm single braid dyneema that is very stiff also (even stiffer than zing-it i'd say)

Warbonnet is correct, the stiffness of the weave makes a big difference in how bad a line will tangle. Zing it and lash it are good. I have a new line I will be listing soon, "Arrowhead Floss" That is great at resiting tangles.

Shug, thanks for the info and suggestion. I'd really like to buy from the guys local on the board, but that shipping cost...yeow!
Home depot should have some yellow small diameter line that is pretty close if not the same thing, and cheap.

You may be able to find this locally at a mower/lawn care store, some of them carry some tree climbing supplies. Some call it slick line.

I had emailed the no-tangle vendor a couple of days ago and never heard back. I ordered some Dyneema from Warbonnet simply because he posted in this thread, and responded to a separate email within a few hours.
If there's two ways to take my comments, assume it's the lighter and funnier of the two.

Floss? Sounds like it is going to be a small diameter line? A super small diameter no tangle line would be pretty cool.

Thanks Bradley, the video was clear and very helpful. I had to not use a tarp recently because the ridgline was a tangled mess! Your vid will solve that.

As he did in so many other areas, Ed Speer got it right the first time.
