    Crowsnest 3S-3/4 five-day test

I was at Raystown Lake in south central PA for a gathering of canoeists last wek and weekend. Spent every night in my Clark NX-250 with my new, and un-tested Crowsnest for underinsulation.

It works! What else can I say? It was toasty in upper-40s nights, covered the hammock body perfectly, and adjusted easily. Generated a good bit of interest as well.

I used my old Marmot Grouse bag as a TQ, but I imagine that in the spring I will be pulling the trigger on a new TQ from Hammock Gear.

Thanks for the review! Glad you got the UQ in time for your trip. I'm still waiting on mine to get here.

    Swoosh:

No kidding about the wicked wind! I was in the Senoia loop of the Seven Points campground, down near the lake but in a grove of trees. I had the CJH zipped up completely except for about an 8" opening above my head, and I was glad that the COE is good about removing dangerous trees!
