    WBBB in my future

My first hang last night! I borrowed an HH Ex with side zip from a buddy. I'm tired! Not from the hang, but from all of the acorns dropping all night long. It took me a bit to get to sleep, probably from trying something new.

My body feels soooo much better from not being on the ground as I would in a tent. I had my normal tent pillow and it seemed too thick for how I was laying so just laid my head on my fleece jacket. My pad (inside) was a 20 year-old TR.

I'm now seriously looking at the WBBB because of the research and videos available here. In fact I've seen so many videos that my wife doesn't want to hear about hammocks. Although she thought shug was pretty cool once she saw the cat "making bisquits".

Any thoughts on how the WBBB experience will be compared to last night's HP hang?

I have never slept in a HH. I absolutely love my recently acquired blackbird and can sleep any way I like, even on my stomach.

I use one of these for a pillow and like it a lot- http://www.rei.com/product/794982 Anything bigger than that is to much pillow for me in a hammock.

Haha, my fiance thought the "making bisquits" sounded more like the cat was pooping on him...she asked me not to use that term again.

I can't use a larger pillow as well. It crinks my neck too much. I just use a stuffsack with some clothes or a little bit of insulation in it. Just enough to keep my head and neck straight with my spine.

I just got my fiance a WBBB, and she got me one about 6-8 weeks ago as an early birthday present. We are still getting settled into them, but they are super comfy. The footbox is a great addition to a hammock, and the build quality is excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hammock.

I use a small square pillow a room mate left behind it has those small plastic pellets instead of foam and its spandex so it form to however I squish its. The dimensions on it are about 12x12.

I almost bought one of those for myself...but it was $15 and the foam pellets felt like they would compress (eventually).

Thanks for the inputs all. It sounds like I can expect to lay flatter in the BB.

That's the one, except I can't quite make out the cat's name: "Billy Ba..."?
