Superfly seams sealed?

I was wondering if the Superfly needs to be seam sealed when you get it new?

Just got a Jambamama tarp from WB .... same ridgeline. He said not necessary. I did seam seal my side pull-outs though.

nope, the edge binding sheds the water, so the RL seam shouldn't leak.

the panel pulls could be sealed, but most don't since they' aren't overhead (any water that came through would just run down the sides)
