Hey guys, just doing a little more research before getting my first hammock, so please excuse the ignorance. I am wondering what the limits of Te-Wa's 3-season 3/4 underquilt are. Those being how low the quilt can be taken and at what point is it too warm?
I know it has a rating of about 30 degrees, but what if I was to have a Z-lite under my legs, capilene 3 top and bottom, a baclava, down booties and a light down jacket, and a 30 degree top quilt. You guys think I could possibly take it down into the 20s with all the warm clothing?
I know everyone's different, but how low have you taken your 3-season underquilts?
Living and backpacking in Florida and taking a few AT trips in the Spring and Summer's I tend to spend some warm nights outside. Would a quilt like this be too warm at 70 degrees? Could I leave it at home or just maybe loosen it to increase some air flow?
