    Most of the tubular webbing that I have seen has been made out of nylon, which will start to stretch on you and may cause your setup to look and feel like it has deflated over the night. The mule tape is made of polyester, and has very little stretch.

    But, as in all things, results may vary. It sounds like the 9/16" tubular is working for you, and if that be the case, status quo is always cheaper than replacement

    Right off the reel, the lube they use carries no scent that I have ever noticed. Some of the lube we use in the field, however, smells bad when it dries. Washing the tape just insures that nothing is left from the previous use.
