PA Fall Hang?

I go to school out in Lancaster and i'm wondering if there are any hangs going on soon, i'm dying with school work and just need to get out into the woods but there's no one here that does real camping. If anyone knows of any hangs or anything going on the weekend of the 10/23 let me know. thanks

Second going to Mahha. It is one of the best hangs IMO and it is this weekend. BTW I'm just up in Reinholds.

there is a hang in NJ in the Pine Barrens in january.
I'm hoping to make it finally this year.

Hey GLP or Dutch,
Where is the 501 shelter? What is a close town? Is this the one where you exit I-78 at Bethel and head north? I might be able to do an overnight on 11/27 but my plans are not yet final.

you can get to the 501 shelter from 78...i'm not sure on the exit ...maybe dutch will chime in...it's close to pine grove ....

That's the one I was thinking of. If you were to head south on 501 past the AT from Pine Grove, you would hit Bethel in 2 or 3 miles.
