I've looked at the Evasote pads on gossamergear.com. I found the r-value to be .90 (http://www.trailspace.com/gear/gossa...nsulation-pad/). I was wondering if it might take 2 of the 1/4" pads to get enough insulation in cold weather. From the Gossamer Gear website it appears that they aren't as stiff as the ccf pads and might toll up a little tighter.
