How did you get .91?
$10.21 for 60 inches. That's $2 a foot or $6 a yard.
am I looking at the wrong page?
(what's the difference between retail and wholesale anyways?)

OWF sells by the yard
Strapworks sells by the foot
So for 1" polyster owf is about .30/ft and strapworks is .38/ft

I recently got the poly straps from owf. They do stretch a little, but I'm used to the Strapworks stuff which is **** near bombproof. The weight difference is pretty substantial. I haven't put it on the scale to compare, but the difference is noticeable just holding both. Good stuff!
what about those of us....okay, me...who dont sew? who can we get nylon from that is already sewn? any entra...entrahpaner....any businessmen out there?
Strapworks will do it for you if you ask when you order. I don't know about owf. My first set got sewn at the local alterations shop; it cost me $9 to have it done and took about 15 minutes.
Strapworks will sew the loops for you for a fee. You have to call or e-mail them about that. Forget nylon. It stretches too much. Speer will sew the loops in the Polypro webbing for a fee.
If you go with the owf polyester webbing, you could have your local seamstress sew them for you.

I highly recommend polyester webbing. The Harbor Freight webbing that I use has been used on several outings now and shows no signs of wear. I got to see some of the OWF camo polyester webbing this weekend and I will be placing an order with them soon to replace the bright yellow HF straps.

Warbonnetguy,
I'm looking for 3/4" polyester webbing to use as side suspension webbing for bridge hammock like JRB describes they use in their Bear Mountain Bridge. In the bridge hammock thread you said you ordered samples of 3/4" polyester. Do you know of a good source? Would 3/4" polypropylene from OWF work as well? Would 1/2" be too weak?
Thanks.
If I was buying webbing specifically for hammock tree straps I'd not go smaller than 1" and I think the OWF green polyester is the one to choose if you're ordering.
Personally I like wider widths, but then there's the weight. So most trees in my areas are smaller (well under 2' diameter) so I carry short wide straps... About 4' of 2" wide per end.
