You can get sil seam sealer from most outdoor suppliers ... but I highly reccmd using Permatex Flowable Windshield & Glass Sealer. Easier to use and makes a nicer seal in my opinion. Oh and it's much cheaper ... you can get it at most auto part stores.

I concur you don't need a sealer for warbonnet or OES tarps

why do ridge lines not need sealing?
It's not procrastinating, its proactively delaying the implementation of the energy-intensive phase of the project until the enthusiasm factor is at its maximum effectiveness.

On Warbonnet tarps, the ridgeline seam is folded and bound with grosgrain.

Tarps that don't use that method do need sealing.

If you still need seam sealer after having read the previous quotes you can also simply buy silicone caulking at Home Depot (or what have you), and mix it with some alcohol or other mild solvent. Then paint it on. The solvent won't hurt the nylon.

+1 on the Permatex flowable silicone

I used it on my WB Superfly side pullouts with success.

One little glitch though: I set it up on a friday evening in the shop and sealed it. Temperature was in the 50s and humidity was quite low due to a dry high pressure system.

Saturday morning, and the sealant was STILL tacky. A quick trip to the interweb and I had the reason: Silicone sealant cures via exposure to moisture. Low humidity = little moisture. So I filled a spray bottle with water and misted the sealed stitching.

Sunday morning, all cured, all is well.
