    Hello and thanks

Hello from southern Indiana. I just wanted to say thanks to the members on this forum for being such a great bunch of people, to Shug for the entertainment and teachings because I never would have found this site if it wasn't for his videos, and Paul at thru hiker because he set my mind at ease when I wasn't sure what order and took time to explain things and made sure to get me exactly what I needed (1st rate buisness). I'm going to be making my quilts soon and hopefully if all goes right I'll post my progress and pics.

Thanks for the welcome and you all are right, it is a madness!
All these years been sleeping on the ground and never considered a hammock untill now but it just makes sense. I've already ordered more thing than I should have and will now be sewing for who knows how long to get these projects done but I've got the swing sickness and must convert from ground to hanging asap. So far I've completed aluminum bottle alcohol stove with a foster pot and cozy, a channel end hammock and have materials for a tarp and winter quilts inbound. So finding this forum is bittersweet because my wallet can't take much more but my will to get in the woods can't wait .

Heh heh. Welcome! I understand the "need" to get to get "out there."
Please post some pics of your projects. I can't wait to see 'em!
