It's amazing how much a dog can mean to a person, isn't it? They literally become family. I feel for you!

The best people I have known in my life had four legs, a waggy tail and a fur coat.
Nube is chasing all the rabbits he want now.
    Take care.
I need to go hug my dog.

BTW... I'll bet Nube would want you to finish your goal of an overnighter each month in 2010.

I am so sorry to hear about this. I'm sure you guys loved Nube as much as I love my dogs.
Although, it was a short life, I have no doubt that Nube had a better life than most dogs, traipsing through the woods with his master, playing in the creeks, and dozing by the campfire. Because of you, he lived a dream that few dogs can.
    You have my sincere condolences.

He is your friend, your companion, your defender... he is your dog. You are his life, his leader, and master. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of that devotion.
