another Texas noob

Osiyo! I'm relatively new to hanging... only been a handful of times other than my backyard, but I enjoy it much more than "grounding". I never liked the idea of being grounded anyway... This is a great forum! I hope to add to the collaborative body of information and camaraderie. One could spend a good bit of time in this forum to say the least! I'm in "very central" Texas (Hamilton) and am looking forward to some colder weather... It's been nice, but I just ordered a crowsnest and burrow!... I find myself pacing my porch and rubbing my hands together with a weird grin, staring at the mail man as he walks by Sometimes I'll even have the bushbuddy fired up on the porch just for the hell of it. People must think I'm creepy, but if they only knew...how much more it is than just creepiness Ok, back to... wait, what was I talking about?

I'm definitely considering the Fairfield hang... I just have to convince my wife... We're camping with the family the weekend before and she is 3 months pregnant... She might not be up for a back to back, but she might let me go it alone. I'm not going to ask her to go alone directly though... it'll be tricky. Oh, the joys of marriage + pregnancy... I wouldn't want it any other way though
