You could also just sew a tube shape and put an elastic drawstring in the top. Then you can use it as a neck gaitor or even cover you ears and mouth/nose with it.

Hmmm... I have to admit it's an interesting idea. I'm having trouble picturing a climashield insulated tube flexible enough to be able to do all that (and you would not cover your mouth AND nose, or else you'd have tons of condensation).
I can see it working as a hat though.
