Over-Overstuffing down?

Two schools of thought about that. One is to wait until you get better and then show it off. The other is the one I will usually follow. If you are trying to learn, then show off your mistakes because any body who comments negatively about them is not worth listening to. The folks worth listening to are the ones who will give true constructive criticism. In other words... If you are going to make a mistake... make it big and noticeable because that way it can be addressed and you will get it better the next time.

Or better yet, guys like Rev who know better, can point out stuff you didn't even know were mistakes!

That's what my mandolin teacher always said, "If you're gonna make mistakes, make 'em LOUD!" Nothing worse than not trying. Thanks, Rev.

I agree with Rev. I only have DIY stuff and I have no problem showing off my mistakes. Mistakes are the only way you learn (I'm learning A LOT). The most important part is have fun and not worry about it.

Jonathan, All I can say is FANTASTIC! I have a few DIY projects but, not an UQ yet. I am very impressed. I have realized that the only way to get better at something is to jump in and do it. Can't never could until you tried. Keep up the great work and the pics you posted were great also. Regards, Dale

kc7fys, looking at your pictures it doesn't look too overstuffed to me.
The lower fill powders and type like duck can make it feel dense and heavier
than normal.
Looks like an awesome first, looks warm too, I like the color as well.
