I have only one layer of reinforcement fabric. I went with one because the HH Hex that I traced/copied only had one. I hope it holds. This is my first tarp, so we'll see what happens.

I'm not worried about this. I can't see it holding an appreciable amount of water.

I know knotty did a set of pockets on his diy sil camo tarp, and he reported the same issue.

Take the time when breaking camp, roll the line up, secure it to itself with a wrap.
After a few times, it will be second nature.
    Great feedback. Thanks.
What I'm hoping is that the combination of rolling and tying the line into a bundle, the small-ish opening in the reinforcement patch, and the lip of the grosgrain edging will give the line a fighting change at staying in the pocket.

It is likely that it won't, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

looks great to me. you can only get better. If you did everything right the first time, there is nothing to learn.

    nice job!

I heard that yellow helps you remember things.
Because you fall through the clouds if you try to lay on them, so the next best thing is a hammock.

I'm hoping it will help me remember where my campsite is.

If this system continues to move NE, you will get a lot of rain. Raining heavy for the second time to day in Atlanta.
