So i met this guy with a Clark Jungle Hammock and BIG red Tarp from some place in MN on the greenstone ridge durring my trip the first week in august. We started talking Hammock Forum and about our dream setups and such. He gave some advice and everything as he was more experianced on the Isle Royale Trails.
Any way its been bothering me. Could you please let me know who you are and where did you get your tarp again?
So you were in Isle Royale Natioanal Park then ... What a great place. What was he talking about? It could be a big red Backwoods Dreamer Winter tarp. I saw one once ... It was very nice.

Yeah it was a great trip. Hiked the rock harbor trail to the greenstone the greenstone to the feldman the feldman to the minong and the minong back to the rockhabor. Then two days day hikimg around rockhabor due to gale force winds on superior.
He was talking about how it was a local tarp maker in his area. We talked a lot about whoopie slings as I was still considering the conversion. His tarp had a one inch or so strap sewn around the edge strength.
