Hey Shane. So what would be the reason for switching form adjustable webbing to whoopies (what a fun name BTW reminds of those seat cushon things)? I really like the simplicity of the webbing for now. Good idea of swapping out a cord lock

Prusiks, Klemheists, Bachmans, etc. all are designed to be tied with loops of line smaller in diameter than the line they will be attached to. These knots were intended to be used on climbing ropes, so they may have different performance on other types of line.

Some experimenting will show that they'll often work with similarly-sized smaller cordage that we mess around with in the camping hobby. I find that loops of limp 2mm cord tied on as Prusiks or Klemheists really grip well on Dyneema, Amsteel, 3mm cord, paracord, etc. I've been using "Power Rope" from Campmor; the 2mm is about .15/foot IIRC. Three buck's worth will provide all the loops you'll probably ever need.

I get a pretty weird look from the mailperson when a package comes with a return address of "Whoopieslings". Sounds like some kind of device for deviant behavior in the bedroom....
