Impressed!

Went to a friend's property last night with a group of friends to celebrate the full moon. All the others were in tents, even the guy who got me into hammocking in the first place! I was a little skeptical about hanging as the temp was below zero (celsius) and I don't have an underquilt. I laid out one sleeping bag flat, then put my thermorest on top, then I had a light fleece blanket inside the other sleeping bag with me. I was toasty warm all night! The only disturbance I had all night was around 5:30am some wolves started howling.

Why was your friend who introduced you to hammocking using a tent?

I don't know odds, I do know that I was a happy camper the next morning and he wasn't! He looked like he'd aged 20 years when he got up

Boy I know that feeling!

I slept in my hammock last night during a thunderstorm. I woke up this morning perfectly refreshed and ready to go to work!

Can you believe that!
