Had a great time on our first "official" hang

    Hey everyone,

This weekend I carried my son over to the Ozarks to have our first hang(full details in trip reports). My son had slept in the hammocks in the back yard a few times but this was my first. I have a HH Safari for me and a HH Expedition for my son. Naturally it rained last night but the tarps did a great job of keeping us dry. This was the first time I have camped in probably 15 years but now I can say for sure that we are hooked. I am going to be doing some suspension mods over the winter and purchase a couple of top quilts. Thanks again for all the advice and tips to get me to this point. I can't wait to go back after the first of the year for another hang.

Here is a couple pics of our campsite.

It would not be a camping trip without rain.

Nice pictures and glad you had fun.

Nice pics. I gotta say i've always liked the look of the HH diamond fly, got that space ship look going on.

Since switching to a hammock, I sometimes camp just because it is going to rain.
