Hello All:
I'm relatively new to hanging. I started out with an old jungle hammock for a "2 nighter" in the trees, and saw this as the way to go (over a tent or a tarp)
SO, I've just acquired a Grand Trunk "skeeter beeter" hammock. I am less than thrilled with the "S" hook idea of suspension that was included with the purchase. I also would like to install a permanent ridge line that (from what I understand) will help to maintain getting the "right spread" when ever / where ever I hang the hammock.
So what I'm looking for is the most direct (and lightest) way of getting the hammock up easily and correctly with the least amount of "stuff" being involved.
I have come to see the need to get some fairly wide nylon straps to go around the trees...but if I may, I'll avail myself of your collective experience to go from there...
Suggestions?
Thanks,
SoloBear.
