Looks like a quilt worthy of your screen name yet ready for winter's worst. Amazing that this was your first effort.

Now THAT is a quilt! I bet that thing would be steamy even at 30*.
oldgringo's reply to my worrying about owning extra hammocks:

How many pairs of underwear do you own? Do you refer to them as "extras", simply because you're not wearing all of them as we speak?

Now that is a thing of beauty!!! What are the dimensions???
My knife is so sharp it cut the sixth finger off my right hand! On the plus side, Inigo Montoya no longer hunts me.

I haven't had anywhere close to cold enough weather to do any testing but it's crazy hot after three minutes in it. The dimension are 80 long, 56 in the shoulders and tappered down to 43 at the footbox before the sides were sewn together. I finished the under quilt today along with a winter tarp so just waiting for some snow. The under quilt is 60 x 48 with 12.5 ounces of down. I post some more pics of everything after this weekend as I'm going to test my set-up. I used the shop vac method for the down but the hockey table method may be soon to come.
