    Winter quilt is finished

I just got a chance to take some pictures of the finished quilt.
Shell is Momentum 90, insulation is 18 ounces of 900 fill which gives about 5 inches of loft. The footbox is sewn and I installed a drawstring in the shoulder. I don't have a very acurate scale or I would post official weight but I would guess about 23-24 ounces.
    Thanks,

ETA- The blue cloth on the sofa is an under quilt in the works

Warming me up just looking at that beast! Nice job. Always wondered, how do you sew the two sides together on the foot end? I can see doing that by hand but haven't figured out how to get a machine to do that.

    Thanks for the replys,
Ha the air hockey table is more of my project table unless I have inventors block and then it gets some use.

As for the footbox construction I turn everything inside out and sew the two sides together. The end of the box was built like a round pillow and sewn in last then flip everything right side out. I don't know if this is really the right way to do this as this is my first quilt but I liked the look of how it turned out and the footbox is double stiched so I shouldn't have to worry to much about ripping stiches. This quilt was built to replace a -15 degree sleeping bag that weighed almost 7 pounds
