shee--it.....didnt mean to kill the thread...lol
nah you didn't kill it, I was gonna bump it with some more info/confirmed dates in a week or so.
Sounds like a great plan JCK.
I'd love to come but I do a annual run up your way every year around the start of April hunting Red Deer for a week with the RIDGE group.
Hope all goes well and have fun playing with all your new gear, that's half the fun.
Bump....any more interest for this?
Must admit I'm keen to get out and try some of my new gear too
Hows the floods treating you fellas up there. Hope your all safe eh.
Hitch
It is a tad bit wet, especially for the ground dwellers.
We are supposed to get another 500mm between today and wednesday around the SE corner. Damned if I know where all that water is going to go. The ground and the creeks etc are full. Definately won't be as bad as up north though.

Hey JCK, those dates sound ok but I can only afford 3 days max at this stage.
bump...again
Thanks, missing DNA, was just about to post an update.
So far the dates I stated are looking good, and I am likely to have several days off/maybe all of them off. I will try and find out for certain in the next few days.
I have had a thought, though. I'm wondering how has all this rainwater and floding affected the national parks, and if it possibly means that the parks are not open or too wet/dangerous.
Still trying to contact the NP to find out my other questions, and my new one above.
what do you guys think?
