I thought, just for a laugh it would be interesting to see some keen hangers doing what they love when they dont have the change to get out into the woods
Post some pics of you backyard hang

Wow, that looks very comforting. I'd have to clean up my yard a bit before I take any more photos. But here is what I have handy:
This is from my phone. It's accurate to within 5'. The Japanese Maple it's focused on is where I tie off my Blackbird when I do hangs in my side yard. (my house is the corner house).
Not a great view, and the road is right there, but it works.
The neighbors started asking what the big red tent thing was, so I've installed a post in the back yard, and started deck hanging. This works out better as it's a little more discrete, and I'm closer to the dogs (the little one I allow to jump in with me)
classic shot of pups. nice work! My dog snuck up on me a stuck his head over the hammock the other day and scared the hell out of me....
Ah backyard action!! Its the next best thing.
Not very keen... But it works..
We would be one step closer to world peace, if everyone slept in a hammock..
If your hang'n your happy.
My house is surrounded by woods so my choices of places to "BACK YARD HANG" are endless but these are a few places I have stayed the night "TESTING"
SIDE YARD
OTHER SIDE YARD
FRONT YARD ON THE WATER
VIEW FROM THE HAMMOCK IN THE MORNING
I also hang lots on the covered porch you can see in the first picture

Wow Myles...I really need to move somewhere out in the sticks. This City/Suburb thing hurts me more and more every year.
Unfortunately my job requires me to be near big cities.
Here's my humble back yard setup from my very first night in a hammock, last night.
