    Hennessey ASYM 30D Fly questions

    Hey all--
Does anyone know the actual weight of the HH ASYM 30D fly? The HH website does not have that info that I can find. And, has anyone tried one on a WBBB? I want to get a super small easy wind block fly (two for two hammocks) and still plan to carry the far larger fly for real storms. Obviously weight is an issue for this frivolity and cost matters as well since purchases are paired for two hammocks. Any ideas? Open to whatever the world knows.

    short side = 65" -
    long diagonal = 122" -
    short diagonal = 105"
    •Canopy fabric: 1.1 ounce 30 D silicone nylon (236 g., 8 1/4 oz)

    Deep Jungle shows...
    • Canopy dimensions: - a parallelogram 97" x 64"
    • Canopy fabric: 1.1 ounce 30D silicone nylon 66(236 g., 8 1/4 oz)

    Deep Jungle XL shows...

Thanks for that! I was following the "photo specs" link on the Catalogue page and got nothing in the directed page.

I think that is a bit off for the DJ XL. There seems to be a preference for 8 1/4 oz, no matter which tarp.

I believe my 30D asym (diamond) stock Explorer tarp is ~ 11 oz. It is of course larger (mainly longer) than the Expedition/ULBP model. I think the RL is 137".

yeah--that is a lot of similar ounce numbers for some quite different dimensions.

I remember I've seen a comparison chart on the hennessy site.
But the link has disappeared in the menu for some reason....

But in menu is a link to FAQ.
In the answer of the fifth FAQ-question is still a link..

or add some typing to the url ..../comparisonchart.html
