Chicago delays.

Hi there,

Does any one have any idea why my UQ would have been held up in Chicago for over a week and a half?

I was wondering if those people trying to ship printers with surprises in them have caused some kind of lock down?

Just wondering if any other internationals are experiencing something similar or if there is a local reason that google can't provide.

Basically customs in Chicago is FUBAR. We get things held up there all the time that come from France to Michigan, sometimes they even get sent back to france.
So if you don't have someone advocating for you with the customs guys it will likely be back burnered for a while. Thats just my opinion.

obviously my post was just a clever trick to confuse the internet god of irony (incorrect use of the word "irony")

my package hit australian shores this afternoon.

Speaking with a friend he also has two packages taking longer than normal in Chicago so there may be a delay on international cargo shipments to and from the US as my news service is talking about tighter security on cargo planes.

Any way i have to go and start the staring competition with my mailbox...

I usually get products the same day I send an E-mail to the vendor asking where the package is. So I understand your "irony"
