    Trek Hamaca anybody? Especially Canadians

A coworker of mine was interested in getting a hammock but wanted to buy from a Canadian Distributer. I knew of MEC which is an outdoor equipment company up here that sells parachute nylon hammocks by Portec but in my research I came across Trek Hamaca. It was a little cheaper than MEC ($53 vs $65) so I ordered one for her. It is a basic parachute nylon hammock with end channels that are triple stitched and different coloured sides like the ENO's. The construction and quality is on par with ENO and it is also made in Indonesia like my Doublenest. The suspension they offer is 5mm polyester rope. Shipping was about 4 days from Montreal to London and it was trackable. Just thought I would share for any Canadians that may interested.

    Thank you Odds!
I was reading the Byer of Maine Vario Hammock Stand thread here
    http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...highlight=byer
and wondering if there was a Canadian supplier. I checked the Byer site but it only showed wholesalers in Canada. But now I notice on the Trek Hamca site there is what appears to be a Vario stand in the third picture on this page:http://boutiquehamaca.com/fr/accesso...mac/index.html

Time now to lay not so subtle hints for Christmas...
    Thanks again for bumping that...

Your welcome but I don't know if they sell stands. Lee Valley has a stand but it is bigger than the Vario.

Yeah they sell stands...that's why I was thanking you! And it appears they sell the stand I'm interested in, that will fit the WBBB!
I'm not so sure about the Lee Valley one---I'll have to check that out before i buy...
