A coworker of mine was interested in getting a hammock but wanted to buy from a Canadian Distributer. I knew of MEC which is an outdoor equipment company up here that sells parachute nylon hammocks by Portec but in my research I came across Trek Hamaca. It was a little cheaper than MEC ($53 vs $65) so I ordered one for her. It is a basic parachute nylon hammock with end channels that are triple stitched and different coloured sides like the ENO's. The construction and quality is on par with ENO and it is also made in Indonesia like my Doublenest. The suspension they offer is 5mm polyester rope. Shipping was about 4 days from Montreal to London and it was trackable. Just thought I would share for any Canadians that may interested.
