OK .... last night it was really windy and only got down to 37º.
Was pretty warm .... got a bit of cool butt after a while so I did the old Ed Speer trick and put a piece of plastic between the UQ and hammock and warm was I.
Could add the weather-shield to boost a bit as well.
May test again soon .... going to 28º tonight.
My feelings now that stand alone it is good to 35º-40º.
I need a summer UQ anyways.

Glad you had a good night out in the quilt. I have a question concerning the gap between your quilt and the hammock body, around your keister area. While I was out this past weekend I noticed that my UQ had a larger gap between my butt and my back or my legs. It appears that the UQ on the through channel suspension was allowing more gap under my butt. I made several attemps to pull the UQ tighter on the suspension but it would still allow the increase gap under my butt, this is when I pulled out the CCF pad.

Sorry for the long wind, my question...........did you notice a larger gap under your butt while you were getting colder? I notice the corner loops on your UQ, what if you were to mod the rigging to pull on these loops as well as the channel suspension, would it alleviate the CBS?????

    Hey bigbamaguy
Looks like you're using the AHE triangle thingies with your UQ & WBBB. How are they working? I just got some myself, but haven't been able to try them yet. I have a WBBB on order.

Good observation ...... I was thinking that as I laid there. I will rig it that way today.
I had my JRB Hudson River (I use it as a TQ) rigged on last week to give it a go as a UQ ... possible deep winter supplement. I had it rigged from the corner loops and it was good and tight. Must try with the new UQ.
    Thankee bigbamaguy.

    Very nice quilt Shug!
Gotta admit though kinda surprised that you didn't already have a synthetic quilt in the arsenal?

Wow, it's even cold in the summer in MN!

Seriously though, nice quilt Shug! Thanks for the pictures too.
