How to pack Wet Hammock suspension webbing?

So what do you guy's do with wet webbing?
Do you disconnect the webbing and store seperately with the tarp?
Do snake skins or a Bishop bag reduce the risk of the webbing getting the hammock wet?

i normally have had silnylon snake skins over the hammock & everything else in the backpack that needed to stay dry was in a waterproof stuff sack as well.
so i would just leave the wet webbing attached & put it into the pack.

but i continue to look for ways to improve my system.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

I have a zippered mesh bag (2" x 12" x 8") that is side buckle connected to the outside of my pack. Here the wet fly, wet suspension straps, stakes, maybe a wet packtowel, wet socks, etc. will go. Only dry stuff goes inside the pack. Since the fly and suspension is the last pieces to come down and the first to go up in rainy weather, it serves me well.

i treat wet hammock gear the same way I treated wet tent gear - separate it from the dry stuff.

Depends on which system I'm using - with the rings or buckles, it's pretty easy to remove the webbing and store it separately if you need to. But I've also done what slowhike said...just leave them on the outside of the skins or blackbishop sack b/c everything else next to it is in sil bags of their own. If I were out for a long time I might be more careful about that, but I haven't had a problem with it yet.

If my webbing is just damp I will leave them outside the BB sack so they don't get the hammock body wet and put the whole thing inside my pack as normal. Anything inside my pack that should be protected (quilts, clothing, etc) is in silnylon sacks or dry bags that protect them from damp webbing.

If my webbing is really wet, like dripping, it will go in a mesh pocket on the outside of my pack or I will just hang it somewhere on the outside of my pack.
